Bill Henson

I love Bill Henson’s work. There’s something disturbing yet magical about his photographs that makes me linger when looking at them. When I was in NYC a few years ago for CMJ’s Music Marathon I made an effort to explore Chelsea on my own. Henson had a show and I was pretty awe struck at seeing his images in person. The photographs were massive and really put you in his scene, which half the time gave me the feeling of ‘I shouldn’t really be here watching these people’, which perhaps added more effect to both why I loved them, and why they’re considered to be so controversial. At any rate, I highly suggest checking out more of his work.
