Has any artist or what-not tracked their name on tumblr before? I did for the first time [because I was totally feeling narcissistic] and I was blown away. I never realized my work was ever really blogged about, let alone reblogged. Someone even mentioned they wanted part of my piece tattooed on them.

I feel like such a dork getting all gooey and hyped up on this, but I guess because I’ve just gone for so long without ever hearing really anything from people about my work before. Sure I get responses from friends or fellow colleges, but it’s different when other people outside my circle are looking at it. Does anyone realize how motivating this is???? I mean, sure, I love art and always see myself continuing to make it in some form or fashion, but it kind of boots your self-esteem a bit to see how many people positively respond to your work.

Anyway, thought I would brag about myself for a split second. Everyone gets one. That was mine for the year.
